Check in with yourself.
Make sure you take time to recharge your battery.
Seriously, you need to disconnect.
If your weekend is just as “go, go, go” as the week then something will eventually break.
Most likely it is going to be YOU.

I don’t recall the last time I had a day off.
However, I feel recharged and balanced.
The reason is, I make self-care a priority.
It’s a daily practice, not just something saved for the weekend or holidays.

What is self-care?
Sometimes it’s just taking a moment to find our breath and quiet the busy mind.
Breathing is involuntary for us most of the time.
However, with practice we can learn to harness our breathe and alter our physiology.
Stress is about how we respond to external factors.
The more fluid we can be with external forces the better we can co-exist with them.
Bruce Lee famously said,
“If you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup. Be like water my friend.”
To find that flow create a daily practice of self-care.
When an unstoppable force, meets an immovable object chaos erupts.
By being the rigid immovable object you put yourself at the epicenter of chaos.
Learn to step out of the way.
Learn to voluntarily use your breath to find yourself.
Be like water my friend, even if for just a moment.
